Terrence Thompson's Photography

The garden at  Palazzo Borromeo on Isola Bella (beautiful island) was designed in the shape of a ship. The garden rises upward through 10 terraces to represent ship decks. It even includes a poop deck at the rear of the garden. By 1659 the palace and garden had been enlarged to take on the general appearance it has today. (Scroll down to see all the photos)
