Venasque in Provence

Venasque is a good example of why we enjoyed just wandering through the
countryside stopping at little villages as they appeared around a curve in the
road. Venasque is a charming village with a beautiful church that dates to the
12th century. The village is very old and sits on top of a rocky hill. We enjoyed a very nice lunch there
after strolling through narrow streets. More photos are below.
